The advantage in purchasing insurance through SSB is the significant savings over purchasing insurance through your shipping carrier.
Shipping insurance is provided through a private insurance company and covers packages shipping from the United States and Canada via USPS, FedEx or UPS.
Both domestic and international packages may be covered.
Please note that FedEx Smartpost is not included in the insurance program, nor is eBay's Global Shipping Program.
